How much will the ceremony cost us?

We've looked at celebrants who have done hundreds of weddings. Wouldn't we be taking a bit of a punt being one of your first few couples?
An understandable question. This is your special day, and you need to be fully confident that you're in trusted hands. Although I am a freshly-minted wedding celebrant, having completed my training in 2025, I have a wealth of related experience, providing me with all the skills and understanding needed to make you and your guests feel special, and to make your day a memorable one for all the right reasons! In addition, our initial meeting – by video call, or in person if you are visiting the Barcelona area – will be completely free and without obligation, giving us a chance to get to know each other, and you the opportunity to decide for yourselves if you are entirely happy with my approach.

Are your ceremonies legally recognised?
Nope. Spanish law requires at least one partner to have been resident in Spain for two years before a legal wedding can take place. Couples who choose Catalunya for a stunning destination wedding have generally married in their home country beforehand. My ceremonies are a celebration, in the Spanish sunshine and the company of family and loved ones, of the commitment you are making to each other and the start of this exciting new chapter in your lives together.

I will happily travel just about anywhere for the privilege of playing a part in your special day. My travel costs are already included for weddings within 50km of Sitges. For ceremonies further from home I will provide you with an updated quote to account for travel and accommodation expenses.

Do you work with wedding planners?
Absolutely. While it's not essential to hire a wedding planner, I would strongly recommend it. A good planner will have wide experience and an extensive network of suppliers. They will help you choose the perfect venue - if you haven't done so already - give you a range of options on every other aspect of your perfect day, and take much of the stress out of organising a celebration with so many moving parts. Sitges is home to some of the best wedding planners in the business. Here are a couple of my favourites:
